Hello!

Here we post a brief overview of events and entertainments for kids during March school holidays in Hamburg.
Off we go!

Hubertus Wald Kinderreich is a child’s imagination universe, where creativity flies unbounded.
Every day during holidays from 10:00 to 18:00 kids between 5 and 12 are welcome to try various creative occupations – a designer, an architect or an artist. The venue has enough free space for creating, building, taking photographs and drawing. Free entrance for all visitors under 18 .

Workshop for Kids, Museum der Arbeit
Every Wednesday from 14:00 to 17:00 is the time for kids between 6 and 12 to learn to work with metal – a fantastic material for making things. Kids can make metal nails and even cast metal elephants – a good souvenir to take home and show friends.  Free.

Machines in  Size Small – fischertechnik and LEGO TechnicMarch 7, 2018 – May 6, 2018
Schleswig-Holstein Museum of Firefighters opens a new exhibition – specially for little fans of technique and those, who collect machine models. The exhibition shows over 80 models of small and big mechanisms, made from fischertechnik building blocks. One can admire the 3-meter-high model of Liebherr crawler crane, for instance. LEGO blocks are parts of 25 machine models – one can compare.
On Sundays from 14:00 to 17:00 little visitors (older than 5 years, though) are able to build their own machine models with the help offischertechnik building blocks. Another option is participating in a find-a-fireman game – for kids up to 12 years.
